About Me
About Me
I was about 10 or 11 when I edited my first video. A friend had received a JVC camcorder for his birthday—a digital one, not a VHS model. It came with a disc containing editing software. Luckily, my old computer could handle it.
We spent the whole day filming jumps (parkour was all the rage back then), and by evening I’d already edited the video—complete with dissolves, cuts, “sunbursts,” and other crazy transitions. And all set to some French rap. Cringe—no doubt about it!
However, starting the very next day, video requests started coming in. I began shooting and editing videos for all my friends and friends of friends!
Later, as I got older, I gave it up. I returned to editing, but this time with a clear purpose, in 2016. At the time, my girlfriend (now my wife) was working on her student thesis film.
While helping her, I mastered Adobe Premiere Pro and gained a wealth of knowledge: editing by direction and phase of movement, editing by shot size, lighting, and color, by tempo, J- and L-cuts, and so on. As a result, she got her diploma, and I got a career.
That’s how it all got started! 🎬
